Ever-Nu Metal Products Co., Inc. now features Sandblasting! In all there are two basic kinds of sand blasters: Blast Cabinets and Portable Blasters. The uses include the outdoor furniture and railing industries, in addition to bicycles, motorcycles, automobile rims, cast iron stoves, radiators, and other items requiring attention to detail fare better when sandblasted.
Sandblasting is the process of cleaning a surface such as a rusted or heavily coated cast iron radiator, wheel or patio furniture using a coarse material such as aluminum oxide to mold and smooth the surface. Today many different particles are used, including glass beads, copper slag, steel shots, and other abrasive materials. Sandblasting can be performed on a variety of surfaces, including, stucco, glass, wood, or stone. There is a huge variety of abrasive blast media available and each has it's own specialized purpose. Sandblasting can be used as a cleaning method, or to etch designs into glass or another material.
Sandblast Cabinets have adequate lighting, ports for hand insertion and in conjunction with a dust collector is an environmentally friendly process compared to the use of chemicals in the past. The process is relatively quiet, allows for a thorough job and provides for abrasive separators which allows Ever-Nu to get the maximum life out of the abrasive blast media & consequently helps in saving our environment.
